Herb Chilli And Olive Oil Marinated Feta Cheese

I was delighted when Karen from Lavender and Lovage asked me to guest post while she’s on her coast to coast Canadian tour.  Karen’s blog has wonderful posts based on Seasonal food from her homes in France and Yorkshire and Travel to fabulous foodie based destinations.  Having been born in South Africa and brought up in Hong Kong as a Navy Brat, she has influences from East and west as well as a firm foot in traditional British baking and preserving.  If you Haven’t already discovered Lavender And Lovage you really must take a look and also discover my  herbed and spiced Marinated Feta.

I really like marinated feta and when I made feta for the first time, all I wanted to do was marinate it. Yummo. Yours is prettier than mine so I’m going with yours next time. 🙂

Feta is such a great cheese for adding flavours to. It’s robust enough to be able to take it. GG

Oooh, I’m off for a nosy as feta is one of the only cheeses I can eat and it looks like your marinade is right up my street 😀

Can you have Halloumi? These days both these can be made from cows milk but they aren’t the real thing. GG
